The darkness in his life
makes the virgins shudder.
In his darkness she was a bright light,
She was the most beautiful angel of all,
but in another lover she found illicit delight
so Jack resolved his dear angel would fall.
The darkness took his life
and so without so much as a mutter,
Jack took a dull knife
and cut her heart like butter.
